Dale McGowan

Dale McGowan is the author and editor of books including Raising Freethinkers (2009), Atheism For Dummies (2013), and In Faith and in Doubt: How Religious Believers and Nonbelievers Can Create Strong Marriages and Loving Families (2014). The 10th anniversary edition of his secular parenting classic, Parenting Beyond Belief, was released in December 2016.
He founded Foundation Beyond Belief, the world’s largest humanist charitable and service organization. He was Harvard Humanist of the Year in 2008 and FBB’s Humanist Visionary in 2015.
